The plaque in honor of the proclamation of independence of the Belarusian People's Republic is ready, Radio Svaboda reports.

"Now we’ve got what we've all been waiting for so long. The plaque is ready," – sculptor Ihar Zasimovich says. Now it is waiting for the decision of the Artistic Council.

After the procedural requirements of Minsk City Executive Committee are fulfilled, the memorial plaque will be placed on the building in which on March 25, 1918, the Third Charter, which proclaimed the independence of the BPR, was adopted.
