Mikalai Statkevich: We Want Decent Mass Celebration

The politician urged to take part in the March of Dignity and Freedom.

"We, the organizers of the March, stand for the concert to take place, even despite the illegal arrests. We want a decent mass celebration," - one of the leaders of the Belarusian National Congress Mikalai Statkevich wrote on Facebook.

"The celebration of Freedom under the strict limitations of the freedom of speech can be mass and merry. However, it will not comply even with its name. To make it a decent event, we need the rally, free of censorship, the need the March of Dignity and Freedom.

I am calling for all the patriots who have vigour and will to come to the Yakub Kolas square at 12.00 on March 25, so that Belarus and the whole world would see our dignity and will for freedom.
