Criminal investigation officers found a man suspected of arson attacks on three cars in Minsk. We remind that the place of the accident surprised a lot: carcasses of birds and other strange objects were scattered around. The city police report the details.
The suspect is a 38-year-old unemployed man. It is believed that it was he who set three cars on fire on July 7 – the Kupala night.
Law enforcers confirm that chicken carcasses, pork ears and tongues, 5-dollar bills were scattered across the parking lot, as well as two cans of red paint were poured around. Under each of the cars, the police found a can of fuel, one can was under the fourth car, but it did not ignite.
"The motives of the incident are being established," – the police specified. It is known that previously the man has not held criminally liable.
We remind that over the fact of the arson attacks on cars, a criminal case under Part 3, Art. 218 of the Criminal Code (deliberate destruction or damage to property committed in a socially dangerous manner, which caused damage in a particularly large amount) has been initiated. The man is facing 7 – 12 years of imprisonment.
