BNC Rada: Let’s Defend Those Who Defend People

Belarusians are called to come to Lukashenka’s administration and support the REP trade union on August 24.

The Rada of the Belarusian National Congress called for solidarity with Hennadz Fiadynich and Ihar Komlik. People can support the REP trade union leaders on August 24, the day of delivering the verdict on the trumped-up case against them. The statement of the BNС Rada says:

– On August 24, the verdict on the "criminal case" fabricated against REP trade union leaders Hennadz Fiadynich and Ihar Komlik will be delivered.

The Rada of the Belarusian National Congress supports the initiative of REP trade union activists to file personal appeals at one time with the demand from the chief customer of the reprisal to stop the persecution of Fiadynich and Komlik.

The BNC Rada urges citizens to come to the dictator’s receiving office in the building of his administration at 38, K. Marx street(from the side of Kirov Street) on August 24 at 10:00, two hours before the verdict.

We call to bring statements there, demanding to stop political repressions against the leaders of the REP union, civil society and the independent press, to release and rehabilitate all the political prisoners.

Let’s defend those who defend the people.

Earlier, REP trade union activists reported that they would meet near Lukashenka's administration on August 24 at 10:00. The dictator will be handed over appeals with the demand to stop reprisals against Hennadz Fiadynich and Ihar Komlik.
