Belarusian Anarchists Responded To Provocations By Authorities

Activists have recorded a video message.

Anarchist activists Siarhei Sazanovich and Siarhei Niaudokh made a video message after their parents were searched.

"The searches of my parents' house took place because unknown persons threw paint at Minsk city court. I have nothing to do with it and I associate it with the persecution of anarchists," - Siarhei Sazanovich stated.

"My name is Siarhei Niaudokh and my parents have been searched. I am accused of throwing paint on the court building. I did not do it! I regard the situation as a strengthening of repression against the anarchist movement in Belarus.

Dzmitry Paliyenka is accused of two episodes under the same 341st article. In addition, a friend was detained on September 24 for graffiti against the European games.

Siarhei Sazanovich and I are accused under the same article - article 341. I believe that the persecution of Sazanovich and I is the revenge of the punitive authorities for the protest in front of the court building with Dzmitry Paliyenka and for the performance at the Minsk dialogue. At the same time, my personal opinion is that the activist may use various tactics in response to the repression of the state, but it does not make me a criminal," - Siarhei Niaudokh said.
