The pensioners, who used to be the main electorate of the dictator, say that the younger generation should be in power.

Video blogger Dzmitry Kazlou, "The Grey Cat," who takes part in the "parliamentary campaign" in the Vorsha constituency № 25, told the press service of the civil campaign "European Belarus" about the collection of signatures:

- The collection of signatures in apartments is going well, even better than at pickets. At the pickets to collect signatures, I wouldn't say that we collect much. People just come up, read and pass by, they don't sign much. People often ask questions about my biography, where I studied or worked, what I do. Many people say that all these "elections" are full of nonsense, they don't believe in them, many people have no faith that they can change something. But mostly, people react positively to the national symbols. They even left their signatures because they were happy to see the flags.

In fact, I expected that there would be more complaints, criticism of us, and there is no such thing - no one supports Lukashenka anymore. Even the elderly people are happy to sign, especially the elderly. I often hear from them the phrase "Young people should be given a way to go".

Older people often talk about numerous problems of housing and communal services, about the fact that the authorities completely ignore their complaints and appeals, though numerous letters and calls are sent. Everybody is tired of the fact that the authorities are unable to cope with such problems as repairing pipes to prevent water from flowing or curbs. They are disappointed at the fact that they have already elected those who are now in the "house of representatives," and in fact, one cannot even get through to his "deputy".

I often hear the words of support - both in the street and on the Internet. People from Zhlobin, Brest and other towns write to me, some people come to pickets or plan to do it, even if they have traveled many kilometers. People say, "Come on, guys, go for it!" Especially when we're collecting signatures in the apartments.
