Belarus Raises Export Duties On Oil And Oil Products

The last time the duties were changed was on January 1.

Starting from February 1, Belarus raises export duties on crude oil and petroleum products, exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union. This is provided by the decree № 46 of the Council of Ministers of January 28, 2020, BelTA informs with reference to the National Legal Internet Portal.

The rate of export duty on crude oil will amount to $78.5 per 1 ton (previously - $77.2).

The duty on straight-run petrol rose from $42.4 to $43.1 per 1 ton. For commercial petrol, light and medium distillates - from $23.1 to $23.5 per 1 ton. The same duty is applied to diesel fuel, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricating oils and other oils.

Previously, the rates of export customs duties on crude oil and certain categories of goods produced from oil were changed on January 1. At that time they were lowered.
