Lukashenka: Belarus Is At War For Energy Resources

The dictator said that "we must learn to scrimp."

Lukashenka called the situation with energy supply of Belarus "a war for energy resources," Interfax reports.

"You see that there is a war for energy resources today. We have such a period. So we must learn to scrimp and live within our means," - Lukashenka said on Thursday, commenting on the appointment of Aleksei Rymasheuski General Director of Minsk Wheeled Tractor Plant (MZKT).

As previously reported, as of January 30, Belarus does not have stable agreements with Russia on the terms of supply of the main energy carriers - oil and gas.
