The corporation turned to investors.

Uncertainty in the development of the political situation in Belarus creates risks for the transit of Russian gas to Europe via the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline. This is stated in the materials of Gazprom for investors in Eurobonds, tut.by reports.

“The current political instability in Belarus and uncertainty about the future development of the situation increase the risks for the activities of our subsidiary Gazprom Transgaz Belarus, in particular, the risks of disruptions in gas transit through the Belarusian section of the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline,” the documents say.

Currently, Gazprom is experiencing a number of difficulties in its work in Belarus. Minsk owes the Russian gas monopoly at least $ 330 million for the supplied hydrocarbons. The Belarusian authorities promise to settle the issue with a $ 500 million loan from the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development. In addition, the Gazprom group lost control of Belgazprombank after the introduction of the temporary administration of the National Bank of Belarus.
