Real strength and power in the hands of the people.
The head of Viktar Babaryka's election headquarters, Maryja Kalesnikava, read out an appeal to law enforcers asking them to take the side of the people.
"No more violence. You won't become president forcibly," - she said. She also asked the military to be with people and not to follow the authorities' shameless orders.
"Belarusians are tired of being humiliated by the authorities. Of this endless mess and deception. The Belarusians got completely angry! There are queues and pickets all over the country. The authorities will no longer feed the people with their empty promises.
We should continue to hammer away the power by all lawful methods. We must continue to express our opinion - to show our disagreement. Keep showing your displeasure with the regime. Don't be afraid of the riot policemen and paddy wagons. A paddy wagon is just a car, and the riot policemen are just human beings. Walking down the streets, we don't do anything bad or illegal. These streets are for us.
The real power and authority are in the hands of the people! We do not need leaders, we do not need supermen, we do not need a new vozhd, we need ourselves and our desire and persistence to take to the streets, to stand, to watch, to express, to hammer away this power!
