Lithuanian Mobile Operator Made Calls to Belarus Free of Charge

The operator Tele2 will not charge for calls to Belarus until Thursday.

The Lithuanian mobile operator made calls to Belarus free of charge.

It is reported by 15min.lt.

"We understand that it is very important for people to stay in touch with their loved ones. We want to help our customers communicate freely, especially when they need it most," said Petras Masiulis, CEO of Tele2 in the Baltic States and Germany.

The operator made this decision due to the situation in Belarus and the increase in call flows in the neighboring country due to restrictions on Internet access services. Customers calling to Belarus do not need to do anything - compensation for this period will be reimbursed by the operator at the end of the month when calculating the invoice.
