Hrodna residents first noticed a torch above one of the workshops, and then thick white smoke that came from one of the chimneys of the enterprise. Hrodna Azot officially announced that at 14.35, there was an unscheduled shutdown of the equipment of the shop Ammonia-4 as a result of erroneous actions of the personnel of the electrical shop. Ammonia-4, they promised, will resume its work within 24 hours, and then Urea-4 will also be launched. But after a day, the shops are standing.

Yesterday residents of Hrodna noticed a fiery torch above one of the workshops, and then - thick white smoke. The telegram channel Stachkom Azota reported that the shop Ammonia-4 was stopped, in the shop Kaprolactam-2, all pumps were cut down, and Urea-4 was also stopped.

On the official website of the enterprise, information appeared that an unscheduled shutdown of the equipment of the Ammonia-4 workshop occurred at the plant due to erroneous actions of the personnel of the electrical workshop when performing scheduled maintenance. Because of this, the workshop Urea-4 also stopped - they are technologically connected.

Ammonia-4, the administration promised yesterday, will resume its work within 24 hours, and then Urea-4 will be launched.

As of 4:00 pm on Tuesday, April 20, the stopped workshops were still not working, employees of the enterprise said.
