Convicted PR activist Viktoria Zherdetskaya proposed in March a "plan to improve the image of the Interior Ministry", writes Mayday, a human rights Telegram channel.

Last week, the court of Dribin district convicted Victoria Zherdetskaya of the Minsk region for a year of restriction of freedom without sending her to the open prison.

Interestingly, in March 2021, Zherdetskaya sent her proposals to the Ministry of Internal Affairs to improve the image of the agency. She suggested creating several shows and a YouTube blog "Welcome to Belarus". Eismont, Chemodanova, Vasilevich, Baskov and Kubrakov were supposed to be invited there. She also suggested contacting Google, Facebook, VK and Twitter and negotiating to ban the accounts, which "discredit the honour and dignity of Belarus".

She also suggested recording meetings on ZOOM with people under house arrest, inviting a psychologist and posting the videos on YouTube. She suggested that such videos would help show that the people who had gone to the rallies had been wrong.
