AFU Liquidate More Than 60 Kadyrovtsy From Elite 'Neftepolk' Unit

New details of the strike on the occupants' headquarters in Kairi near Kherson.

On October 25, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff confirmed a strike at the site of a Russian army unit based in Kairi, Kherson Region. Reports in the Chechen Adat community claim that the dead were from the Neftepolk unit of Kadyrovtsy.

The information was made public on the command's official Facebook page and on the 1Adat Telegram channel.

The General Staff noted that the strike was carried out at the enemy base in the village of Kairi (left bank of the Dnieper river). According to the AFU General Staff, 30 people were killed. Around 100 more are still under the rubble.

The 1Adat Telegram channel published a video showing dust-covered Kadyrovtsy rejoicing at having survived the artillery strike. It is believed that the attack was carried out by a HIMARS missile system.

The families of the dead have already been notified in Chechnya of the emergency situation and the commemoration ceremonies have begun. A video has also been created, which shows the faces of the dead to sad music.

Number Of Kadyrovtsy's Losses Growing

The AFU general staff is reporting 130 killed and wounded Kadyrovtsy, but the figure may be higher.

At first, the public media reported that at least 40 people had been killed and about 60 others wounded. However, the clean-up of the rubble is under way for the second day now, Kadyrovtsy have mobilized the local population to deal with the matter.

The source, quoting journalist Andrei Tsaplienko, reports that the bodies of the occupants of the Neftepolk unit are under the rubble. Local residents were driven at gunpoint to remove the rubble of the building where their headquarters were located.

On the first day the bodies of about 40 Kadyrovtsy were found, on the second day some 30 more were found. In total, the Ukrainian armed forces sent more than 60 occupants to the concert with Kobzon.

The occupiers blamed the local population for the adjustment, which helped the AFU to target the enemy base.

The Neftepolk division was created with the participation of Kadyrov personally. Its main task is to assist the Chechen Rosgvardiya in the protection of oil refinery facilities. A total of two such units were formed, each with 2,000 men. The selection is very strict, since preference is given to Chechens who have been in hot spots. Men aged between 18 and 50 are accepted into the unit.
