'March Of Dignity' Brought Together Thousands Of Belarusians In Warsaw

Belarusians marched through the center of the Polish capital with national flags.

Today the international action "Day of Dignity" has started. It will be a week of events organized by Belarusians abroad and dedicated to the second anniversary of the August presidential elections and thousands of people after them. On August 7, actions are held in 7 cities of the world: Bialystok, Poznan, London, Brussels, Washington, Philadelphia and Warsaw.

Today at 15:00 people gathered on the Constitution Square of the Polish capital. The children of political prisoner Antanina Kanavalava opened today's action with a poem by Yanka Kupala "A chto tam idzie" ("But Who Is Comming There"). After that, the Volny Chor (Free Choir) performed the anthem.

The March of Dignity passed through the streets of Warsaw from Constitution Square to the European Commission and ended in the centre of the Polish capital on Castle Square.

The Basta Telegram channel published the timelapse of the solidarity march.
