Lukashenka's Aircraft Unexpectedly Headed For Sochi

The aircraft took off from Minsk on the evening of the 24th of September.

One of the readers of the Zerkalo news publisher traced the Boeing 767-32KER flight under the number EW-001PB. This is one of the planes usually used by Aliaksandr Lukashenka. The plane took off from Minsk on the evening of the 24th of September.

The aircraft headed for Sochi. It is currently there. There is no information on whether Aliaksandr Lukashenka was on board. No official visits to Russia were announced either.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, September 20, at a meeting with State Secretary of the Security Council Aliaksandr Volfavich, Lukashenka casually mentioned a trip. But he did not mention the destination:

We will be ready to hold this event of the Ministry of Defence (his participation on defence issues - Ed.) in a week when I return from a business trip.

Recall that Lukashenka has visited Russia on official visits six times since the beginning of 2022. The purposes of these trips were meetings with Vladimir Putin.
