Aliaksandr Kabanau was released from the colony in December last year. On April 14, 2021, together with his colleague Siarhei Piatrukhin, he was sentenced to 3 years in prison, accused of “organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order, insulting a representative of the authorities”.

Kabanau was detained on June 17, 2020, during the election campaign.
