According to the relatives of the mobilized, last week they were removed from their usual place of deployment and settled in a forest belt in Luhansk region. The servicemen were told that their regiment had been disbanded, so they were being transferred to another unit. In order to do this, they were allegedly required to sign a corresponding contract for voluntary membership of the assault squadrons. However, they were not provided with any documents about the transfer.

"Many of them refused to sign the contract, and the command started exerting pressure on them. Threats, humiliation, the mobilized men were cut off from their supplies, so they were forced to eat from their personal reserves, drink from the spring, and sleep on the bare ground in the open air. The soldiers were threatened that they would live under such conditions until the contract was signed, and if any of them were seen within the checkpoint they would open "lethal fire". In some cases the men were shot under the feet, in others they were locked in a pigsty. All this is supposed to motivate them to sign the contract. Military men are regularly threatened with criminal charges as well: for example, at the weekend they were told that those who refuse the contract will be taken 'to the pit' as deserters, and there they will stay until they agree to serve in the assault squad," the channel says.

Relatives of the military have recorded a video appeal to dictator Vladimir Putin. The women note that their relatives are allegedly ready to take part in the war in the future, but after proper registration in another unit, retraining and a leave.
