AFU Make Breakthrough Near Bakhmut

The Ukrainian General Staff has reported that the Russians have been knocked out of Kleshcheyivka.

Russian occupants continue their attempts to seize Luhansk and Donetsk regions of Ukraine. In one day, Ukrainian fighters repelled more than 30 enemy attacks here, reports the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff.

Thus, in the Lyman direction, the Russians unsuccessfully attacked near Kreminna and Bilohorivka, Luhansk Region, as well as near Berestove, Donetsk Region.

In the Maryinka direction, Ukrainian fighters repulsed all 13 enemy attacks near the town of Maryinka. The enemy did not attack in the Avdiivka and Shakhtar directions, limiting their attacks to artillery and air strikes.

The General Staff presents the situation near Bakhmut in a rather interesting way.

"The enemy carried out offensives towards Kleshcheyivka in the Bakhmut direction, with no success," reads today's report.

The noteworthy thing here is this: Kleshcheyivka has been under Russian occupation since January 2023. At least it was until recently.
