Russians Flee Crimea After The Bridge Blasting

In Chonhar, the traffic jam has grown to 20 kilometers.

Russian tourists rushed to flee the occupied Crimea after blowing up the Kerch bridge last night. Thousands of Russians hastily leave the peninsula, rushing north towards the Chonhar Isthmus. At the same time, huge multi-kilometer traffic jams were recorded in all directions of departure. There are so many cars that the transport hubs cannot cope with the load, writes The Moscow Times.

The Kremlin RIA Novosti reports that the traffic jam at the exit from the Crimea in the direction of Melitopol has already reached 20 km. Russian experts estimate the number of tourists on the occupied peninsula at 50,000.

Updated Google maps are already available on the Internet, on which you can estimate the size of the traffic jam.

In order to fight traffic jams, cars in the occupied territories are getting ready to pass through checkpoints almost without checking documents.

According to social media, even without the night blasting of the bridge to the Crimea, the tourist season on the peninsula was experiencing clinical death. Now even speaking about its prospects appears senseless.
