(Updated) There is a huge glow over the city.

On the night of February 15, a fire started at an oil depot in the Russian city of Kursk. This is reported by the Ukrainian media.

Kursk Region Governor Roman Starovoit blamed everything on a Ukrainian drone, which allegedly attacked the facility. He wrote about this on his Telegram.

The governor said that as a result of the incident, according to preliminary data, there are no casualties.

"As a result of the attack of the Ukrainian UAV in Kursk district, there has been a fire at the oil depot. According to preliminary information there are no casualties. All special services are currently working at the site. Please stay calm," wrote Starovoit.

Also local public pages began to publish videos from the scene, on which you can see a large fire.

Eyewitnesses say that a large number of fire engines have gathered near the base. According to them, a tank with a volume of 100 tonnes is burning.

Later, Russian media said that as a result of a nighttime UAV attack on the oil depot in Kursk region, two tanks with diesel fuel were burning. The matter concerns the oil depot of LLC Polevaya in the village of Polevaya in Kursk district.
