Hospitals forbidden to issue medical certificates with diagnosis consequences of compression to demonstrators

Hospitals are forbidden to issue medical certificates and official conclusions to participants of the demonstration on 25 March, who were taken to hospitals with diagnosis fractured ribs and consequences of compression. Many people were injured, among them passers-by, who were encircled by militia, blogger minskiy_virtual writes.

The blogger also writes the events on Independence Avenue on 25 March are called “constrictor” in militia slang: riot militia force a column to traffic area (traffic militia is forbidden to block traffic, though they tried to do it); another part of riot militia pushes people from the traffic area to pavement and encircled them (they don’t suggest people to disperse); riot militiamen in armoured jackets begin to jam encircled people.

“Only due to partial sabotage of militia from regions there were no dead, while Minsk riot militiamen fulfilled an order with pleasure,” minskiy_virtual notes.

“It was the first time when militia got an order to push people to underground walkway. There has never been anything like that in Minsk. Never,” the blogger notes.
