BCD Party denied premises for founding congress

The organizing committee on creation of the party Belarusian Christian Democracy received the first refusals of premises for holding the founding congress.
As BelaPAN reports referring to the BCD pres service, refusals were received from the Central House of Officers, Republican Art Gallery and Culture Palace of Minsk Automobile Plant.
The House of Officers didn’t give the grounds for the refusal; the art gallery said it didn’t have available rooms till October 31, the MAZ Culture Palace referred to the tour of Moscow Illusion Theatre.
The organizing committee of the congress applied to ten organizations for renting premises. Requests for help in holding the event were also sent to the Administration of Lukashenka and the Minsk city executive committee.
