Moral monsters from Ministry of Internal Affairs (Video)

Minister of internal affairs Kulyahou, who lost all sense of shame and decency, said the police hadn’t beaten Nyaklyaeu and admitted it had been his personal order to disperse the peaceful protest demonstration on the square.

Belarusian interior minister Kulayshou says presidential candidate Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu wasn’t beaten by the police on December 19, 2011, Interfax-Zapad news agency reports.

“Who hit him? It was not policemen,” Kulyashou said at a press conference in Minsk.

“I do not have any objective facts proving it was done by police officers,” he stated.

The minister noted journalists had seen the incident with Nyaklyaeu, but none of them had recorded a fact of delivering a blow to the candidate by a police officer.

“Could the police strike the candidate so they nobody recorded it?” Kulyashou wondered.

“The recent unauthorized actions show that journalists have opportunities to take photo or video of the event they find significant,” the minister said. “This event was significant: everyone wanted the police to strike Nyaklyaeu in order later to accuse the police of violation of rights,” he supposed.

As stressed by Kulyashou, “if the candidate had been hit by a police officer, we could see this picture everywhere today.”

Journalists said in response they had not able to shoot the incident because they had been ordered to lie face down on the ground, but the minister noted: “But who then shot the moment when all of you are lying face down in snow? This lasts not just a second.”
