Swedes came out in Stockholm streets with Belarusian flags

An action was hold in Swedish capital in support of Belarusian fans, who were forbidden to unroll white-red-white flags at the game of the Ice Hockey World Championship 2013.

The action’s participants held the forbidden Belarusian flags, Radio Svaboda reports.

We would remind that on 3 May during the hockey game between Belarus and Czech Republic Belarusian supporters unrolled a huge white-red-white flag and a gonfalon with Pahonia coat of arms. Policemen tried to impede the fans, but Swedish supporters came to the rescue, when a scuffle arose between the Belarusians and police. As a result the Belarusians managed to nag out white-red-white flags which held till the end of the game. The organizers of the championship claimed that they would no longer allow Belarusians with “non-official symbolics” to the stands of hockey rinks. On 5 May at the game between the national teams of Belarus and Slovenia Belarusians were removed from the stadium with their arms twisted for an attempt to unroll a big flag.
