Fashion designer Sasha Varlamau facing 5-year imprisonment

The public prosecutor has asked to send him to top-security prison and confiscate his property.

Varlamau may be returned guilty of having violated the following articles of the Criminal Code: power abuse, major larceny, misappropriation and tax evasion.

The dispute will continue in court. The lawyer’s speech and Varlamau’s last plea are expected, BelTA reports.

Fashion designer Sasha Varlamau was arrested in May 2011. His trial started in February 2013.
