Dinamo Mn lose 1-3 to Lev Praha

Dinamo Minsk wrapped up their first home series of the 2013-14 KHL regular season on a sour note losing 1-3 to Lev Praha on 12 September.

Dinamo could not make the use of seven powerplays Lev Praha offered on the Thursday night. Instead it was the guests who opened the score nine minutes after the opening faceoff on a goal by Jakub Klepis. The hosts came with an equalizer early in the middle stanza on Alexander Pavlovich’s first goal in the KHL. However, Tomas Kubalik and Jiri Sekac scored two more before the second break to help Lev rally past Dinamo Minsk. In the final period the hosts produced a bunch of attacks but could not make a comeback.

In the two previous games at Minsk Arena Dinamo Minsk fell 1-2 to CSKA Moscow in overtime and took a 2-0 win over Slovan Bratislava. In the starting game the Belarusians lost 1-2 in Riga.

With four points after four games Dinamo go 9th in the Western Conference.

The Belarusian team embarks on a four-game trip with the first stop in Cherepovets on 16 September. The other road games will include SKA Saint Petersburg on 18 September, Altant Moscow Region on 20 September and Lokomotiv Yaroslavl on 22 September. The Minskers will hold the next home match against Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg on 28 September.
