Oleh Lyashko: Radical Party will give up entering the coalition in case Ukraine buys in coal in Russia

Radical Party will give up entering the coalition in case Ukraine stocks up with coal in Russia.

That stated Oleh Lyashko, the leader of the Radical party, on his official account on “Facebook” in November 13.

“Ukraine will stock up with 510,000 tons of coal in Russia. Does anyone of the authorities have brains?! How can you deal with aggressor, who murders your citizens? At any price and from other suppliers, but do not deal with occupants! Poroshenko and Yatseniuk, put an end to it! Otherwise, the Radical Party will give up entering the coalition”, wrote the politician.

It should be reminded that in September the Government of Ukraine made a contract with the Republic of South Africa (RSA) on about 1 million tons of coal supply. In early November, Zmievskaya thermal electric power station received the first batch of South African coal. The power station received 3,500 tons of coal.

In his turn the president threw doubt upon plan visibility on coal supply from the RSA in Ukraine. After that Yuriy Prodan, Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, was summoned to the General Prosecutor Office for questioning on the coal supply issue.

Last night it was reported that the State Energy Generating Company "Centrenergo" would buy 509,000 tonnes of Russian coal by $ 80 per ton.
