Police seized banner “Glory to Ukraine” from fans at Chyzhouka Arena

The police seized a banner from Belarusian fans.

Nasha Niva's correspondent saw the incident.

According to him, police officers confiscated a banner with the coat of arms of the neigbouring country reading “Glory to Ukraine! Hold on, brothers!” from fans before the ice hockey match between Yunost Minsk and HC Gomel. The game took place at Chyzhouka Arena on February 1.

Earlier, the football match Belarus vs Ukraine at Barysau Arena last October turned into a display of Belarusian-Ukrainian solidarity.
