GUR: FSB Version Is Crumbling Right Away

Ukrainian intelligence commented on the statement of the Belarusian ambassador.

Moscow's version of Ukraine's involvement in the shooting at the Crocus City Hall near Moscow looks "less and less real". Andriy Yusov, the GUR (Ukrainian Defence Intelligence) representative commented on the situation on March 23, NV reports.

Yusov stressed that the "FSB’s story" that the terrorists were heading towards the Ukrainian border, where they allegedly had a "window" prepared, was actually levelled by the statement of the Kremlin's allies from Minsk.

He recalled that the Ambassador of Belarus to the Russian Federation stated that representatives of his country helped Russians catch suspects to prevent them from crossing the Belarusian-Russian border.

“This is a very eloquent statement. The version of the FSB is crumbling right away," Yusov said.

The Kremlin, in his opinion, will still, with the help of its international allies and agents, promote the idea that Kyiv is behind the terrorist attack in the Moscow region, with a message that "it is necessary to stop supporting Ukraine."

As for the likely consequences directly for Ukraine, according to the representative of the GUR, the Kremlin "has almost no room for manoeuvre." Yusov believes that in addition to the use of weapons of mass destruction, there are no new moves left for Vladimir Putin, the president of the country-occupier of the Russian Federation, and the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall "does not add any points for the implementation of this scenario."

At the same time, according to the GUR representative, Russia will still try to use the shooting in Crocus City Hall to whitewash its image in the world to present itself as a "victim of world terrorism", and not an occupying country that attacked Ukraine.
