What national interests have been offered in exchange for Russian credit?

18

A deputy chairman of the Belarusian Popular Front party Vintsuk Vyachorka has commented receiving a loan from Russia by Belarus: “This 1.5 billion loan, and the next loan announced by Kudrin, mean a tighter noose around the neck of the Belarusian economy,” the politician believes.

“After a long slowdowning of this affair, Russian loans to Belarus, it suddenly started to proceed so easily. At the same time we are informed from Navapolatsk that Naftan is given into hands of Russian Lukoil. We hear threats of a Russian General, the chief of the General Staff Baluevsky about an atomic attack against Poland. Where Baluevsky is going to make it from? From Russia over Belarus territory, or from Belarus, where Russian missiles are to return? We can only guess what a price awful for Belarusian independence, for peace in our country the current regime has agreed to pay to Russia for these thirty pieces of silver. We demand the regime to say the truth for the people: what Belarusian national interests have been sold for the Russian loan?” Vintsuk Vyachorka said.
