Zmiter Dashkevich preparing for release

Imprisoned leader of the Young Front Zmiter Dashkevich had a short meeting with his father Vyachaslau in Shklou in the evening on 27 December.

The meeting wasn’t planned beforehand. But yesterday, when Vyachaslau Dashkevich came to Shklou from Starya Darogi to pass his son a scheduled for December parcel, the administration of the colony allowed him to have a short meeting all of a sudden, Radio Racyja reports.

During an hour of talking the imprisoned member of the Young Front said his father that the administration of the penal colony still had preconceived relation towards him, but Zmiter was in good humour and was preparing for release.

– He thinks after his release he may be set under the so called supervision, when he will have to live at the place of residence registration and come to district police officer every evening, – Zmiter Dashkevich’s father Vyachaslau says.

According to the father, though being in the prison, Zmiter receives much information about the events in the country. The prisoner knows about brutal beating of Hvedaruk and shameful verdict to Finkevich. Only yesterday he received about 200 letters from his friends and unknown to him people.

It should be added that the next allowed meeting of Zmiter Dashkevich and his father will take place in January. It will be the last meeting during the term of serving punishment.
