Some participants of protest action beaten brutally by police

Vera Stramkouskaya, lawyer of the detained on 10 January participants of the entrepreneurs’ action, demanded to call an emergency ambulance to the court of the Central district. 5 activists were guarded to the court, all of them have injuries.

Tatyana Tishkevich is suspected to have a head injury, Arseny Pakhomau has marks of beating on the face, Yury Kaksyuk has fractured rib, Mikhail Pashkevich and Mikhail Kryvau were beaten brutally. They spent the night in a special prison facility on Akrestin Street. A prison doctor, who examined the detained people yesterday, refused to render medical aid, the press service of the United Civil Party said.

It should be reminded, that just after the detainment the young people were forced to turn off their phones and they couldn’t say their relatives about the location.

It has become known today that the detained are accused under two articles: participation in unauthorised event and hooliganism. They can face 15 days of administrative arrests and fines.
