Solidarity with fighters for freedom of Belarus

Today, 16 January, the Day of Belarusian Solidarity is celebrated in Belarus and all over the world. After the rally of entrepreneurs, the number of political prisoners in the country has increased considerably.
Actions calling the Belarusian authorities to release political prisoners and start up democratic reforms in the country are hold in the cities of Europe and the US.
People in Belarus light candles in the windows in solidarity and take to squares to pay tribute to the missing and repressed people and to urge the authorities to settle down to a course of reforming.
Street actions of solidarity, conferences, exhibitions, film presentations dedicated to Belarus are to take place on 16 January in many countries of the world – Poland, Ukraine, Russia, France, Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic and the USA.
Days of Belarusian solidarity are celebrated each 16th day of a month to show solidarity with families of missing oppositionists in Belarus, political prisoners, repressed people and all those, who struggle for freedom and democracy in Belarus.
