Borodin: “Lukashenka going to make significant changes in agenda of session of union state’s council”

An agenda of a session of the Supreme State Council of the “union state” of Belarus and Russia, scheduled for the end of the year, will be changed. State secretary of the “union state” Pavel Borodin said it to journalists after his meeting with Alyaksandr Lukashenka.

“We have discussed in details necessity of significant changes in the agenda of the upcoming session. The agenda is going to be rather tight,” Interfax quotes Borodin.

Borodin said issues on developing of trade and economic cooperation in the frames of the union state were discussed during the meeting. “Turnout between Belarus and Russia will exceed 30 billion dollars by the end of the year. It is a remarkable growth,” the state secretary said.

According to him, questions on hearing military, technical and foreign cooperation at the State Council were raised at the meeting.

“We have also discussed questions of fulfilling decision of the Supreme Council,” Borodin said. According to him, Lukashenka supported an intention of raising questions before commissions for the constitution act, the common legal tender, the uniform pricing, financial and credit policies, energy and agriculture balance.

Questions of the “union” budget were also discussed.

“As you know, the union budget will exceed 5 billion Russian rubles next year. Budget growth by 20 per cent is remarkable,” the state secretary said.
