New heads of Security Council, KGB and Presidential Administration appointed

Yury Zhadobin, headed the Belarusian KGB, is appointed Secretary of the Security Council by Alyaksandr Lukashenka. Aide of the head of state Uladzimir Makei has become a new head of the Presidential Administration.
Major-General Vadzim Zaitsau has been appointed the chairman of the State Security Committee (KGB). He took the post of a first deputy head of the State Border Committee – a commander of the main operative department.
It should be reminded that Alyaksandr Lukashenka relieved State Secretary of the Security Council Viktar Sheiman and head of his administration Henadz Nyavyhlas of their posts on 8 July.
It is reported that both Sheiman and Nyavyhlas were relieved of duties “in connection with the transfer to another job”.
Lukashenka criticised the State Secretary of the Security Council at a meeting with the heads of secret services on investigation 4 July bomb explosion. “I don’t think, you Mr Uladzimir, should take this position after the incident. It is you who are blame first of all,” A. Lukashenka said.
A self-made explosive device exploded near stela City Hero Minsk during a concert dedicated to the official Independence Day. About 50 people were injured, 46 of them were taken to hospitals, among them citizens of Russian and Ukraine. 28 people are in Minsk hospitals at the moment.
