Flash-mob near Central Elections Commission: Boycott to Electoral Farce (Photo)

On August 16 young activists held a flash-mob near the Central Elections Commission in Independence Square in Minsk.

50 young men were wearing T-shirts with the word “Boycott”. They lined up near the building of the CEC. The rally was dedicated to the day of solidarity with political prisoners, which is held in Belarus on the 16th day of every month. The young activists believe that before all political prisoners are released, and necessary conditions created for holding the free and democratic elections, participation of party candidates in the “parliamentary elections” has no sense.
