Ivonka Survila: “I am ashamed for Lukashenka’s associates calling themselves citizens of Belarus”

Head of the Rada (Council) of the Belarusian National Republic (BNR) Ivonka Survila commented on firing of teacher Mariana Hruzdzilovich.

Mariana, wife of Radio Svaboda journalist Aleh Hruzdzilovich, has recently been fired by administration of SOL Minsk education center for she told students the truth about celebration of Freedom Day.

“My first reaction to firing of teacher Hruzdzilovich is a great offence and shame for what’s going on in Belarus. Behaviour of Lukashenka and his associates (not only them, I mean here also parents of Mrs Hrusdzilovich’s pupils) is so wild that I am ashamed for them and the people who help them. I am ashamed they call themselves citizens of Belarus, use our beautiful land in their interests, hostile interests. They traitors are allowed to do this, while heroes and patriots are being beaten and mocked,” Ivonka Survila said.

“Russia must have promised much to Lukashenka if he affords demonstrating of his the most caddish features. I am thankful to Mrs Hruzdzilovich for she hasn’t allowed such a mockery over her people. I congratulate her, I am sure it won’t be forever, our quiet and neighbourly country will revive and find the place among the civilized nations of the world , the place in which Lukashenka is now refusing,” the head of the BNR Rada emphasised.
