Protects in Minsk continued after dispersal of action on October square (Photo)

An action dedicated to Solidarity Day was held by activists of the civil campaign “European Belarus” near the Belarusian State Philharmonic Hall on Yakub Kolas square at 7.0 p.m.

Young oppositionists were holding portraits of political prisoners Mikalai Autukhovich, yury Lyavonau, and Uladzimir Asipenka and shouting “Freedom to Political Prisoners!” and “Amnesty!”

The action drew attention of many Minsk dwellers. Belarusian artist Mikhail Shabalin showed his interest in the picket.

The action lasted for 15 minutes. Two militiamen came to the protesters and wrote down personal data of Maksim Vinyarski, one of the participants of the action. No people were detained.
