Milinkevich: “I have never said about necessity of Lukashenka’s invitation to Prague”

24

The leader of “For Freedom” movement commented on a possible invitation of the dictator to the European Union in Prague.

Alyaksandr Milinkevich’s comment on this subject was made during a talk-show “Forum” at “Belsat” TV channel.

Answering the question about his attitude towards the possible invitation to Prague for Alyaksandr Lukashenka, the politician said:

“I have never said it is necessary to invite Lukashenka to the European Union summit in Prague. I firmly believe that the Eastern partnership is needed for Belarus, and at the same time I remain an adversary of Lukashenka’s policy. In general, I think the question who would present Belarus at the EU summit, a secondary matter. But I think most likely that Lukashenka won’t come to Prague”.
