On the Day of Solidarity representatives of the civil society of Belarus held a rally in Vilnius in memory of abducted politicians.

Activists of the civil campaign “European Belarus” have also dedicated their rally to persons involved in the Process of Fourteen, crackdown on the opposition in our country and arrested Vaukavysk entrepreneurs, who are kept in Minsk remand prison in Valadarski Street, f-fight.org informs.

Having gathered on the square, young people designed “16” out of candles, handed out leaflets with information about human rights situation Belarus. The rally was accompanied by a performance: four figures covered by bed-sheets were standing silent as symbols of disappeared Belarusian politicians an public leaders. People were kneeling in front of them. In this way they showed respect to courage of those who were fighting and continued fight against injustice, and were persecuted by the regime for that.
