KGB officers burst into Young Belarus activist’s apartment

Officers of the secret services and BT (a Belarusian TV channel) and officers of court entered Anastasia Mashchava’s apartment and seized a PC.
Young Belarus activist Anastasia Mashchava told this to Radio Svaboda. According to her, KGB officers, journalist from BT channel and officers of court burst into her apartment in the evening January 27.
The offices of court seized her computer. They said it was taken as a pledge until Anastasia paid the fine. The court dismissed the girl’s motion for deferral of payment of a fine.
We remind that Anastasia Mashchava was fined 1,150,000 rubles for taking part in a performance on December 10.
Young Belarus activists Paval Prakapovich, Yahor Babrou, Andrei Kuzminski and Anastasia Mashchava set up a big poster depicting a face with moustache and an inscription “Do no Like the Regime – Throw an Egg at Me”. A box with eggs was left nearby. Some passers-by followed the advice of the poster.
The activists were detained. The guys were arrested, Anastasia Mashchava was fined.
