In Pershamaisky and Savetsky districts of Minsk teachers were offered to be paid for their participation in signatures collection for the dictator.
Teachers themselves confess this fact, those who stand at the pickets refusing, however, to tell their names. It is known, at least, in secondary schools N 121, 191 and 19 of Minsk teachers were offered to take days off for collecting signatures at street pickets promising, according to their words, “good bonuses”.
Some teachers were ready to give a big interview to “Human Rights Defenders for Free Elections” and tell about signatures collection in their working time and actions of their management in detail. But there were no pickets for Alyaksandr Lukashenka in any of the fixed places at the fixed – teachers disappeared from streets. Those, who appeared, avoid talking about the details and being taped.
Despite the words of the Belarusian ruler that one may not collect signatures for him, and his suggestion to support other candidates expressed with regret, pickets for his nomination did not disappear from the streets. Though, as it turned out, there are considerably fewer teachers in them – now they are replaced by kindergarten teachers. They also confirm that they are freezing there with subscription lists only because of monetary bonuses.
