Officials received order to prepare dictator’s “victory”

Babrujsk human rights activists have learnt about the “meeting” which was held recently in the city executive committee.

Plant managers, directors of educational and other state enterprises were invited to the meeting, “Human Rights Activists for Free Elections” inform.

One of the persons who was present at the meeting, and who asked not to reveal his name and position, told about instructions made by the city executive committee members.

“We were told that an eye would be kept on for whom we are giving our signatures, and for whom we would vote in the election. We must inform our subordinates about that. Besides, we were ordered to prepare Lukashenka’s “victory”, to organize early voting and create the necessary number of votes for the incumbent president. It means that we have been simply intimidated. Even if I want to give my vote to a democratic candidate, I will give it a second thought, as it can have consequences for my job,” an official from Babrujsk said.
