Sannikov’s campaign headquarters submitted more than 105,000 signatures to election commissions

The initiative group of Andrei Sannikov was the first to submit such a great number of verified signatures of citizens.

On October 27 more than 105,000 signatures for nomination of Andrei Sannikov as a presidential candidate in Belarus, were submitted to election commissions. Charter97.org website was informed about that by the head of the initiative group of Andrei Sannikov, Uladzimir Kobets.

“We continue to submit signatures, territorial commissions work till 7 p.m. the full picture for the entire country we will have later. Signatures are to be continued to be submitted tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. At the moment dozens thousands of signatures have not been checked yet. The final figures are to be announced on October 29 in the evening,” Uladzimir Kobets said.

“Signatures are brought to territorial election commissions all over the country. It is a huge quantity of work. At the beginning of the campaign members of the initiative group of Sannikov represented 88 inhabited localities, but the collection of signatures took place in hundreds of Belarusian towns, settlements and villages. Now there are very many visits to the regions by our team, the initiative group is very busy. We would like to prevent a loss of even one signature, but we want it to be received by the commission and to be counted,” said the chief of Andrei Sannikov’s campaign.
