Controversies between Belarus and RF have reached the “union” property

Representatives of Russia and Belarus in the Parliamentary Assembly of the “Union State” are anxious about the emerged controversies in regard to the “union” property.

“The “Union State” needs a the establishment of an effective normative legal base, told the Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia Siarhei Maskevich to journalists, BelTA reports.

“Today we do not have a normative legal base which would allow effective managing of the “union” property”, - Siarhei Maskevich marked. The “Union State” needs the corresponding registration of the created objects. It is important to approach equally to solving of the issue about what objects are property of the “Union State”.

As the Deputy of the Executive Secretary of the Parliamentary Assembly from the “Union State” of Belarus and Russia Vladimir Nikitin said, in the “Union State” one should create the governing bodies with the union property. According to his words, a work is carried out in this direction, but there are some controversies. As Vladimir Nikitin considers that the economic estimation of the objects of the union property in Russian and Belarusian Rubles is necessary.

One should mention that parliamentarians of the “Union State” raised the issue of the union property and its management already in autumn of the year of 2006. Exactly then it was declared for the first time about the development of the corresponding legal base. However, the regulation of this issue has not been a success for the last four years. As we see now, -- the reason is the emerged controversies.
