Presents for delegates for “All-Belarusian meeting” cost $575 thousand

The set of presents for the delegates of “all-Belarusian meeting” cost the budget $230 per person.

Taking part in “all-Belarusian meeting” is very useful for delegates from regions. Everything, except dull hours-long sitting in the hall of the Palace of the Republic, is interesting – both the excursion along the capital and the concert of stage stars. But the most important are useful presents. The participants of the previous meetings received “for free” Horizont TV-sets. “Nasha Niva” found out what is included in the current list of presents.

The secret was disclosed by the deputy of Minsk City Council and the delegate of “all-Belarusian meeting” Yury Vaskresensky. In his blog he enumerated all units of the presents' set and even revealed the photo. Only without a microwave.

“Nasha Niva” went shopping and wrote down the prices for such or similar goods in order to find out how much each delegate of the “all-Belarusian meeting” cost the country.

The most expensive present is Horizont microwave. In the brand-name shop various models cost from 207 to 283 thousand rubles.

Next in price is the briefcase from Halanteya. Natural leather, brown colour. Costs as much as 172 400 rubles in the factory’s catalogue. The watch on the delegate’s photo most of all look like that costing 76440 rubles in Luch catalogue. But the present has also an engraving! Sure, not free of charge.

Meanwhile the price of the presents’ set is reaching the sum of half a million rubles.

Two photo albums with the views of the native country cost 50 thousand rubles each. A collection of ideological literature consisting of 5 books – 35-40 thousand rubles.

A set, consisting of one big (A4 format) and one small (A5) notebook costs about 40 thousand rubles, organizer with brand marks – about 10 thousand rubles. Two pens – a fountain one and a ball-point one – in a case add to the total cost 12-15 thousand rubles more. And the last one – a badge. If you order a big lot of badges in a private company in Minsk, each badge will cost 2 thousand rubles.

Total is 700 thousand rubles. $230 per each delegate. And there were 2 and a half thousand of them. Total for all - $575 thousand of budget money.
