122

Since February 27 price at the pump for oil products to go up by 7%.

Such a decision has already been got across to filling stations operators by Belneftekhim concern.

Thus, on Saturday a litre of A-76 petrol is to cost Br 2,080 (growth by 140 rubles), AI-92 petrol Br 2,700 (growth by 180 rubles), AI-95 petrol Br 3,050 (growth by 210 rubles), diesel fuel Br 2,430 (growth by 160 rubles).

It should be noted that the second price rise in this year is to take place as Belarusian authorities should fulfil their obligations to the IMF to compensate budget losses connected to new conditions of oil deliveries in 2010. Thus, the major part in 7% advance belongs to excise duties which had been planned to be increased by 10%.

One more measure named by Belarusian authorities to compensate budget losses of oil industry is lifting budget export subsidies to oil traders and export dues for oil products, AFN writes. Belarusian oil industry workers have been waiting for this document since late February. However, the document agreed upon by all state agencies hasn’t been signed by A. Lukashenka yet.

Wholesale prices for oil products are to grow by 4% since February 27, which is to become the 3rd price rise this year. In particular, Belneftekhim increased wholesale prices by 3% since February 1.
