Agitation in lordly ways

Pro-regime candidates for deputies use the administrative resources abundantly.

It was found out by a candidate for deputy of the district council of deputies, a representative of the Belarusian Popular Front in Khotsimsk constituency number 54 Valery Karankevich.

- On April 8, using his position, together with a driver of the official car, the candidate for deputy in Khotsimsk constituency number 54, Ivan Kazhamyaka who occupies a position of the head of the tax and duties inspection of Mahilyou region, held 5 meetings with voters, and after that he went to the district executive committee where he registered his "tour of duty", - Valery Karankevich told to the website of "Human rights activists for free elections" campaign.

As said by Valery Karankevich, he knows for sure that Ivan Kazhamyaka met with employees of Khotsimsk district executive committee in the assembly hall, he held his meetings with voters in secondary schools number 1 and 2 during the shcool day, held meetings in Trastinsky rural council and in Khotsimsk asylum for neurological patients.

- I offered the constituency election commission to invite all contenders for deputies to such events. But it happens in a different way: Mr Kazhamyaka refused to hold such common meetings with me at labour collectives. It is simply a barefacedness I cannot put up with, - said Valery Karankevich.

The candidate for deputy filed a complaint to the precinct and regional election commissions and to the Prosecutor's office of Mahilyou region in this connection.
