Former Lomats' neighbours urge to boycott "elections" (Photo)

Dwellers of the house number 1 in 14th Partisans Street in Slutsk appeal to voters in their precinct to boycott "elections" to the local council of deputies and paste leaflets about that.

A blogger baradzied states that the present chair of the State Control Committee Zyanon Lomats lived in this house in the 1990ies. Then he was a chairman of Slutsk regional executive committee.

- For 7 years in a row we have been asking the housing department, house administration and the and the executive committee to repair ventilation system, hot water pipe. Tese problems haven't been solved yet, - the authors of the leaflet explain their decision not to take part in the elections.

The blogger found such a leaflet on the entrance of his house. In the conversation with te reporter of "Salidarnasts" newspaper he told the background:

- A short man about 60 with some leaflets approached me and said: "What is your attitude to the imminent elections to local councils?" I decided: well, an campaigner will promote his candidate now, and he has some leaflets to paste them on the house... "I do not care at all about them," I said. "I am going to boycott the elections..." And the man said: "You are right, you should not go to this "election", and we are pasting leaflets about that..."
